Mothers of Modern Ireland

28th June 2008

We have just reached base camp after a 14hour journey that went very well, good weather and good company! We are all looking forward to starting tomorrow fresh and hopefully well rested though no one knows how to begin to unwind after todays mammoth journey, I'm still trying to find my land legs. We are devouring grinder, a delicious bread native to South Tipperary and settling in to Ireland. Tomorrow begins with a meeting with a journalist and then we meet our first lady!
